MICHAEL MILLARD'S SUGAR PINE CUSTOM

Michael Millard has been making his renown Froggy Bottom Guitars for forty years. It's not very often I make a guitar for somebody with a resume like that. This one: 1-piece sugar pine body, curly maple neck with an ebony fretboard [20" radius!], clay dots, toploader bridge, Lollar LEA-90 bridge pickup, Lollar 1950's-wind P90 neck pickup, coarse-knurl knobs, reverse controls, metallic green finish. You can read about Michael's beautiful guitars and his long history in the trade in the Fall 2009 issue of Fretboard Journal.
