LOLLAR ALNICO SOAPBAR

Jason Lollar and Lollar Guitars have been making me a fantastic bridge pickup since 2007. It closely resembles a standard soapbar P-90, but uses alnico poles and a custom wind intended for tighter bass, punchier dynamics, and a clearer tone with a little less output than a typical P-90. It pairs beautifully with Lollar's 1950's-wind P-90 in the neck - two great, distinct sounds that make for a big, clear, articulate "both" sound when combined. And it's spaced properly for the 3-saddle bridges I like best. I couldn't be happier. (It's also no slouch as a neck pickup.)
